Thanks to the contacts emerged in the international congresses and meetings, we have proposed to colleagues friends from different countries, work in unison from here. We agreed that this task should transcend mere translation of the original text into different languages. The real challenge should focus on finding articulation of the essential concepts, made for years by various think tanks psychodrama. Try to integrate them into a common trunk, from the four cardinal points. Sergio Perazzo and coordinated the translation into Portuguese, enriched with a synthesis of Brazilian his contributions to the theory of psychodrama. Similarly other teams are working in the francophone media, Italian, English and German. In Buenos Aires the monitoring task and integration of all these conceptual proposals, It is in charge of Dr. Miguel Angel Tomasini and Lic. Marta Figuerero. The wealth of many sources of creativity can come together in a very useful tool; I am convinced this. It will allow us to cement that psychodrama culture, years, we are building together.
The publication of this dictionary, by via cybernetics, as it was intended with old book written, It has been designed as a rigorous instrument opening codisciplinaria, psychodramatists for those who are willing to continue enriching transdisciplinary. Who here we signed the warm welcome and strongly.
My co-authorship entrusted to me the task of writing this introduction, probably because I was the one who started the thing and who coordinated the various groups were working in this company over many years and during such different stages.
Indeed the history of this dictionary runs parallel to the events of Psychodrama in Argentina. Pues bien, I accepted the proposal of Miguel Angel and Maria Monica Tomasini Zuretti and who considered, with me, three prologs, one for each signature, would be (at least) something latoso.
Here I am, entonces, making a little history.
The idea of this work began brewing, poco a poco, from 1963, along with my initial concerns about the psychodrama. At the time, after five years of training in the University Center Theater U.N.B.A., he was directing the “Theater Studies Center of the Ateneo Youth Foundation”. Those were very fruitful experience for me, where I shared with fellow instructors and some disciples, between many other things, concern about continuing our searches in the dramatic disciplines. El Psicodrama, entonces, it was for us only a vein, indeed very interesting, in the vast phenomenon of theater.
During this period, ranging from 1961 until 1967, It had become possible to plan the curriculum for University Theatre (I believe, first in Argentina) since the Ateneo Youth Foundation would be integrated into the U.C.A. This project and this request of the authorities, He lit our enthusiasms further systematization, articulation and search. Of course, as too often it happens in our Latin America, this project like many others, also it aborted. (Remember the reader college phenomena of the decade 60 and the fears of those officials, in Buenos Aires, prepared and “night of the long canes”).
At that time the works of Moreno were being translated into Castilian and already had begun to be published in Buenos Aires from 1961. The prevailing thought in Argentine psychological schools was then, Without a doubt, Psychoanalytic and, in this line, the dominant trend was Kleinian. Besides the great development of psychodrama in France during the decade of 50 We also began to offer a wide bibliography. Sin embargo, all he is circulating with regard to technical neologism own psychodrama practice, He did not exceed the category of fairly rudimentary indeed glossaries.
It was for this reason that I started, at the time, a file. In the same pouring mere statements were sometimes, other, terms a little more elaborate and even, some quite rounded concepts. It was in 1967 when the “Argentina Association Ontoanalítica” I entrusted the chair of “Group dynamics and group techniques” en la “School of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy”, there began to take more file size. This work was showing me that the ideas of Moreno, read from the philosophical underpinnings, anthropological, socio-psychological and medical underlying deep plot, They managed to show its true dimension. It was in 1969 when two friends: The doctor. Bonoli Cipoletti y el Dr.. Julio Rodriguez (+) I was charged with the coordination of various training and therapy equipment, control, learning and training in the Arturo A Psychodrama Institute. Ameghino Buenos Aires. They were very rich years of work. I am convinced that this was the first free school Psychodrama in Argentina. It contains various group coordinators psychodramatists formed and recognized today in our midst. Next to them the idea of spreading the sedimented, and the file began to become the project of a dictionary.
En 1970, with the arrival of James and Zerka Moreno to Buenos Aires on the occasion of the International Congress, many who were working in Psychodrama, We received, besides their hugs laden warmth and wisdom, the transmission of a great enthusiasm. In the meantime, our task in hospitals had begun to give the Argentines the possibility of recognizing, to know who was who, we were each and were following lines. We had also begun to listen (not much yet) but a little. Certainly there was too much noise for dogmatism. Anyway hospital practice, it was daunting and difficult, It was also very rich and we were basically approaching from the task.
But in March 1976 field hospital was cut rennet for us. Psychodrama and group psychotherapy were targeted and were persecuted. Even some colleagues in the private reduced or suspended work group. It was like going to the catacombs.
I think this brought us closer, because those who were following, We were very lonely. He had personally met Monica back in 69, shortly before Congress in which they participated Moreno. En el 77 Zuretti we met again and began the search for matches, something that I called “Dialogues with Monica”. It sounded like a title of a film of Bergman, but were conversations and sometimes very entertaining discussions on topics Psychodramatic. Soon we decided to work together in teaching psychodrama and this led to what was the “Psychodrama Institute of Buenos Aires”. There, por supuesto, this dictionary took more and more shape and there too, They began to collaborate with us, (very unevenly) some disciples of that time (Today and colleagues). This has already happened I had personally, previously co, at the stage of Ameghino.
At the end of the decade 70 encounters between different groups involved in psychodrama became increasingly frequent and from a first call gathered at our headquarters, then located on Calle French, He was gestating the beginning of what is now the Argentina Society of Psychodrama. From there they continued to pass many things. En 1985 the enormous task of preparing and implementing the International Conference of Psychodrama, in Buenos Aires, (August 1985) He invaded reflective serene spaces and prevented the continuation of the dictionary… It was a bulldozer! So much so that in November 85 It was agreed to close the Institute had created. My personal paths followed from there other searches. It was, sin embargo, the commitment to finish and publish this dictionary before we care so much. In the last stage, Miguel Angel Tomasini took the place of third party in reflective work and the task could continue, sufficiently far from the tumult and rescued privacy.
Thus the thing could mature, to be presented to the reader. Editorial also search was random, but this is another story (so obvious in our critical means not we stop it deserves). Actually it is a feat that…… accept this editorial challenge and things are going in our midst.
To end, What I want to point out to the receivers is that this work has been designed to add lines of thought, because all, still it is different, have given, precisely because of their differences, many riches to psychodrama task. It is also true that caused much pain and some misunderstandings, since they were used to dig in dogmatic rigidities.
What the authors hope is that this delivery, which it aims to settle the multiple and order articulately, it does not become turn into a new instrument used for scholastic fussiness and stiffness. It would be a real shame.
They have collaborated in this first edition we present, with whom we signed the same, Drs. Mario Giuffrida (+), Alejandro Rotbart, the Lic. Susana Blanchod, Liliana Fasano, Viviana Galkin, Adriana Callejas, The Mrs. Virginia Pandolfelli of Urruty, Lic. Silvina N. Venturino, Lic. Marta Figuerero and Mr.. The Oscar. And especially Cunese, Maria Elena Molina Zuviría of Zuretti, all of them our warm thanks.
